Jack & Justine So Far

Another quick post.  The laptop still isn't working right but I was able to work a little on Jack & Justine from the desktop (which is very slow).  I played around with the shading.  When I was halfway through I realized I wasn't sure if the light came from that angle since I haven't finished the background.  But, like always, I'll work around it.

Finally!

Yay!!  I was finally able to get my design into Cafepress.  It WAS a browser thing after all.  I don't know about me and technology.  It seems to have it out for me.  Anyways, I was able to create one of those sticky note cubes and it came out sort of cute.  Of course, I have to give it time to "bake" and then see how I feel about it.

New Fairy & WIPs

I finally gave my brunette fairies a background: a simple one so as to not distract from them.  I wanted to add them to Cafepress, but for some reason I am having trouble with their designer.  At first I thought it was my browser, but I tried with a different one and it just keeps freezing up on me.  I still want to stay with Zazzle, but I noticed Cafepress offers a lot of items so I want to try out with them also.  But, if I keep having the same problem, I’m not going to even bother anymore.  I’m going to give it one more try.  As I mentioned before, besides this digital design thing I like to do, I also like working with my hands.  Jewelry-making is one of the things I’ve been doing for a while.  (I think I may have mentioned it in one of the older posts from when I REALLY tried doing this thing.)

Here We Go Again

That bundle of joy wasn’t so easy after all…at least, not in the beginning.  But I don’t call it “giving up”…I call it “putting things on pause”.

After a very, VERY long time I've decided to try and continue blogging.  It's hard, but I really want to take some time from my day to do it.  I would love NE-Things to finally be established more than what I've done as far as graphic design (that still makes me giggle) and making myself take out some time from each day is a good way to start.  It's a little hard with a bundle of joy that seems to ADORE his mommy, but I believe I can do it.  A little while ago, I had some conversations with a couple of friends that showed me they believed I could do it, too.

Running around with work and chores while carrying Little Man hasn't really allowed me to sit and create more fairies,  but I've been able to create a couple of products with the three fairies I had already created. I like to create a variety of products, but truth is I can't stand sitting for too long (or standing for that matter), so I created a just a few. Below is the flash panel with the different products from the store. I love being preggers and my day job and all, but I really would like some free time and the ability to move about the house normally. LOL

New Designs - Fairies!

I've been working on some new designs for Zazzle.  I wanted to do something with fairies which I love.  I used an awesome design book and learned shading and highlighting techniques which I hadn't used before.  It took me quite a while in the beginning but as I kept practicing, I got the hang of it.

As you can see, they're different types of fairies.
